APPLICATION/TIPS

  • Glossy, transparent stoneware glaze with crackle pattern
  • Apply 2-3 times (preferably 3 times)
  • Ideal firing temperature 1250°C / holding time: 30 min
  • Cracks often form only after cooling, sometimes the crackle pattern is fully developed only after a week
  • Coloring the cracks (after cooling): e.g. rub with strong black tea or ink and wipe off
