Ceramic glazes for every firing range
Whether low-firing earthenware (approx. 1020–1100 °C) or high-fired stoneware (approx. 1220–1250 °C) – at mit-ton you will find the right BOTZ glaze for every clay body and firing temperature. All glazes are ready to use, free of labelling requirements and available in convenient 200 ml and 800 ml tubs (800 ml ≈ 1.4 kg of mixed powder glaze).
From transparent to effect glaze
The range spans clear and opaque standard glazes, the BOTZ PRO and BOTZ PLUS series, and expressive effect, crackle and mica glazes. With underglaze colours and engobes you can add fine decoration – so you will find the right colour and surface for every ceramic project, from everyday tableware to artistic objects.
Glazing with BOTZ is easy
Stir the glaze thoroughly and apply the first coat with a bristle brush. Once touch-dry, apply the second coat and, for more opacity, a third. The glaze quickly becomes touch-proof, so you can handle the glazed piece and carry it to the kiln with ease. For the best result, follow the firing temperature stated on each product.
