APPLICATION/TIPS

• Apply 2-3 times onto leather-hard to dry, unfired or bisque-fired clay body with brush or painting horn
• Without glaze, the engobes become earthy matte
• Achieve even stronger color intensity by thinly overglazeing with 9106 Transparent gloss (single firing process also possible)
• Also well suited for marbling technique and feather dragging technique. For this use slightly diluted on moistened bisque-fired or leather-hard clay body
• Ideal also for sgraffito
• Mixable with BOTZ 9450 (30% engobe, 70% glaze) to create an economical colored glaze with silk-matte surface and fine speckles, apply 3 times
• For small objects also usable as casting clay, fire at 1050°C, becomes frost-resistant after sintering
