Ceramic glazes for every firing range
Whether low-firing earthenware (approx. 1020–1100 °C) or high-fired stoneware (approx. 1220–1250 °C) – at mit-ton you'll find the right BOTZ glaze for every clay and every firing temperature. All glazes are free of labelling requirements, ready to use straight away, and available in practical 200 ml and 800 ml tins. They're also very economical: 800 ml is equivalent to about 1.4 kg of mixed powder glaze.
From clear glazes to effect glazes
The range extends from clear and opaque standard glazes through the BOTZ PRO and BOTZ PLUS series to expressive effect, crackle glaze, and mica glazes. With underglazes and engobes, you can also create fine decorative designs. This way, you'll find the right color and surface for every ceramics project – from everyday dinnerware to art objects.
How easy it is to glaze with BOTZ
Stir the glaze thoroughly and apply the first coat with a bristle brush. Once it has dried, apply a second coat, and if needed a third layer depending on the desired opacity. The glaze becomes touch-dry quickly, so you can easily handle the glazed piece and carry it to the kiln without any trouble. For the best results, follow the firing temperature stated on each product.
